What Impeccable Can Make Executable

Impeccable begins with a familiar failure: an AI agent can produce a working frontend that still looks as if no one made a product-specific decision. It answers that failure not with one better prompt, but with a chain of authorities and feedback. The final question is what that chain can actually make executable. The answer is substantial but conditional: Impeccable can make context durable, direction explicit, visual choice source-owned, mechanical defects repeatable, and quality work easier to route. It cannot make product truth, taste, interpretation, or real-world outcomes automatic.

A design system for steering, not a command list

The project matters as a system because its parts change one another's meaning. The skill's command vocabulary is useful because it sits on top of persistent context. PRODUCT.md tells the agent what the product is allowed to claim and whom it serves. DESIGN.md preserves reusable visual decisions. A surface brief says what one route must help a visitor understand or do. The direction contract turns that surface strategy into a commitment about world, story, first viewport, and finish.

Without those authorities, an agent can still follow a command named polish, bolder, or audit, but the command has no stable object. “Bolder” might mean a larger type scale, a saturated field, a denser composition, or an unrelated redesign. “Polish” might fix a border radius while leaving the primary task unclear. “Audit” might report a clean scan while the page remains interchangeable with an unrelated product. Context converts an adjective into a bounded question.

The same is true of implementation. A direction is not complete when it has been described. Comp-led work turns an approved image into measured regions, type evidence, plates, hero evidence, responsive checks, and review. Code-led work places the ambition in a written first-viewport and interaction contract. Live mode lets a person compare alternatives in the browser while preserving source ownership. The detector registry gives repeatable failures stable names and routes them through source, static HTML, browser, visual, CLI, extension, and hook surfaces.

The relationships can be shown as one loop rather than a stack of features.

stateDiagram-v2 state "Product truth" as Product state "Visual authority and surface strategy" as Context state "Committed direction" as Direction state "Build path and source ownership" as Build state "Live visual choice" as Live state "Detection and hooks" as Detect state "Critique, audit, harden, adapt" as Review state "Human decision" as Human state "Outcome evidence outside the repository" as Limits [*] --> Product Product --> Context Context --> Direction Direction --> Build Build --> Live Live --> Detect Detect --> Review Review --> Human Human --> Direction : change meaning or form Human --> Context : change visual system Human --> Product : change product fact Human --> Build : repair implementation Human --> [*] : accept at the current scope Review --> Limits : cannot prove market outcomes

The loop does not say that every project must pass through every state in the same order. A narrow refinement may begin with existing code. A native project may skip web live mode and browser detection. A code-led surface may skip comp fidelity. The model says something more important: each state has an owner, each transition has evidence, and a later tool should not quietly answer an earlier question on behalf of the team.

This is what makes Impeccable more than a command list. A command is an interface to a decision process. The decision process becomes reliable only when product facts, visual rules, surface strategy, implementation evidence, and review signals remain distinguishable.

The gain is steerability, and the cost is explicitness

The strongest benefit of this architecture is steerability. A team can tell an agent not only what to change, but what must not change, what the surface must prove, which visual system it inherits, which direction has been selected, and what evidence closes the work. When the agent produces a generic result, the team has more precise correction points than “make it feel less like AI.” They can question the product context, the direction, the first viewport, the live variant, the rule finding, or the review judgment.
